This morning Minister of Jerusalem Affairs and candidate for mayor of Jerusalem Ze'ev Elkin, arrived to be Menachem ovel the Rosh yeshiva Reb Gershon Adelstein, who is sitting shiva for his son. At the shiva Minister Elkin was surprised to learn that Rosh Yeshiva Reb Gershon was fluent in Russian which the two then had a long conversation in Russian in which the Rosh Yeshiva told of the family’s aliyah to Eretz Yisroel.....
